Stjärna Aquavit Cocktails

Midsommar

2 oz Stjärna Aquavit

.5 oz orange curacao

.5 oz lemon juice

.5 oz rich (2:1 syrup)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail tin, top with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass and garnish with star anise.

.75 oz Maraschino Liqueur

.75 oz Green Chartreuse or other comparable alpine liqueur

.75 oz lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail tin, top with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass and garnish with a cocktail cherry.

Nordic Spring

1.5 oz Stjärna Aquavit

.75 oz lime juice

.5 oz ginger liqueur

.5 oz Grapefruit Rosemary Liqueur

.25 oz rich (2:1 syrup)

2 droppers Elderflower Lime Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail tin and add ice, shake 15-20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass and fill with ice. Garnish with a grapefruit peel and sprig of rosemary.
