Woodcut made the Wine Enthusiast Top 100 list back in 2017. Two years after that, we filled another barrel and after tasting it later that year we decided to let it age longer. A lot longer.
We are thrilled to announce our third 'Single Barrel' release, this time with a 5 year aged Woodcut!
Our last release was described as tasting more like a rye, it was a little spicier than the standard Woodcut, a little more bold and assertive. This 5 year swings back around, it has a similar flavor profile to our bourbon-kissed gin but with a depth of flavor dialed up to 11. It's ridiculously good.
We always describe Woodcut as 'the whiskey-drinker's gin', but tasting them side by side will really make you question what a gin can be.
